Prestige Cassava Cassareep

This product is indigenous to Guyana and the Amerindian people. It is a natural sauce extracted from the juice of cassava and is mixed with other spices and boiled to a desired thickness and flavor to give you that incomparable taste. Cassareep is most commonly used in pepper pots (meat and other products cooked in cassareep and peppers etc). It was used by the Amerindians to keep their food for days without spoilage. Because of its wonderful flavor it is now used in almost all dishes, and as a browning in stews and broths etc.
